Monday

So, today went well. I think the excitement of last week has mostly worn off. Some kids were pretty chatty in the morning- which is how Friday started, so nipped it in the bud- which met with the usual “awww Sarah, why you gotta’ regulate?” lol and then they worked quietly for the rest of the day. Our peaceful environment was restored. I have to say Thursday and Friday made me appreciate how good my kids usually are. Everyone tells me Success Academy is the best behaved in the school but until last week I kind of took that for granted. It’s ironic since they get sent to my class for misbehaving- but the personal attention they get really helps, a 6 to 1 student-teacher ratio can help keep anyone in line.

I am happy to announce that I have linked Josie’s new myspace page to our site. As with Jessica and Esther’s pages I cannot actually leave posts there since I am not a myspace member, but I look forward to reading it. I have to say- I didn’t know that Josie was divorced or that she and I are both Scorpios. That’s wonder of the internet- it brings families closer together.
