More rambling about the weather…

I know I know… enough with the “it was so nice today…” But this is seriously notable. A low pressure system moved in over the weekend and brought rain and cloud cover. We desperatly needed the rain, plus my rain boots haven’t gotten much use so I enjoyed the downpour.

The added benefit- the cloud cover kept us downright toasty over night. So toasty in fact that it was difficult to sleep- so we found ourselves on a night in late January, sleeping with the door and windows open. We had the screen door shut and locked, but everything else was open. When I woke up at 7 it was 49 degrees and I think that was the overnight low. A bit chilly, sort of.
