semi charmed kind of decade

***** warning this is a perfect example of the grossly sentimental rants i will most likely make loudly and often when im old******This post may not mean anything to most of the people who read it but for a small strange random group of people who have found them selves involved with each-others past and present there is an album simply known as self titled. in march of this brand new shiny year this album will be ten years old. Over the last decade this album has been played listened too and discussed by said random group of fiends and family so much that i feel it deserves a small moment of retrospective reverie. we have listened to this album as teen agers, adults, on head phones in planes. single, dating, broken up, married. arriving new beginning ending . in the hills out side austin tx. and on new years in seattle. sad happy desperate content. drunk sober…..drunk again especially the last four songs lol. i know i know this album and a couple of its singles in particular can be found on countless horrible best of the 90’s compilations right next to sugar ray and vertical horizon…..but i still feel that the last 4 songs on this album truly are and will remain what we have all come to refer to as the greatest line up.i loved these songs at 17 and i still do. the albums 10th birthday will be celebrated with a concert at the fillmore in march.
