School’s out!
January 12, 2007
Well, for three days anyway. Today was absolutely freezing- well, not technically freezing during the day- we got up to 47, but it felt very very cold as there was an icy wind a’blowin’. It was, nevertheless, an excellent day. I did Art History with my kids- Piccasso was a big hit, who knew? Then we did an art lesson and everyone drew a still life and the classroom was actually silent for a full 20 minutes- I should have called the Guiness people (the book not the beer) as I’m not sure that has ever been achieved in Success Academy. It was fun, the kids enjoyed it and they really did a nice job.
In other news- mmmm…..Manuels for dinner. Molly can explain why we’re being obsessive.
I have no big plans for the weekend. Maybe a lil time in Frisco, maybe a trip to Big Sur- maybe never leaving the house because it is so amazingly cold.
Maybe I’ll invent something exciting to tell you all about later.
